005-01

A call occurs
Not from me
Yet it reaches me

It opens a path
Without threat
Without demand

I realize
That closeness cannot be replaced by activity
That protection preserves
And yet separates
That some things were missed
Without blame being placed on me

I admit
That I could not receive forgiveness
And I begin to give it
Concrete
Embodied
Honest

Something releases
Not through insight
But through action

Affirmation happens
Without condition
Without expectation

A new name marks
A new inner position
I do not stand at the edge
But in relation

I bind myself to the light
And I remain
