015-02

Give me time
But not empty time

Give me days that breathe
Give me work that matters

Give me health
Give me quiet
Give me a mind that does not fracture

Give me clarity
Give me clean sight
Give me a heart that is not divided

Give me steadiness
When I could burn

Give me hope
Not the kind that lies
But the kind that endures

Let my hands finish what they begin
Let my thoughts stay sharp
Let what I build stand

Keep far what poisons
Keep clean what touches me

Let my life be full
Not loud
Not famous
Not admired
Just full

And if that is too much to ask
Then give me enough
To remain myself
