God of my praise
Do not be silent
For my love
They gave me accusation
And I
I am prayer

Evil for good
Is what they pay
Hatred
For my love

But you
O God, my Lord
Do what only
You can do

Deal kindly with me
For your name's sake
Deliver me
Your love is good
Help me
O Lord my God
Let them know
This is your hand
Though they curse, you will bless
You will bless

I am poor and needy
My heart is wounded in me
I fade
Like a shadow at evening
My knees give way
I am thin and worn

A thing of scorn to them
They look
And shake their heads

But still
I call to you
Still
I turn to you

Deal kindly with me
For your name's sake
Deliver me
Your love is good
Help me
O Lord my God
Let it be known
Your hand has done it
Though they curse, you will bless
You will bless

You stand
At the right hand
Of the needy one
You stay
With the one
Who has no helper
But you

You save him
From those
Who condemn his soul

So help me
O Lord my God
Save me
In your faithful love
Let them know
This is your hand
