There are those who speak
Only to themselves
And what they hear
Pleases them

No outside voice
No check
No mirror
That tells the truth

And then
Something else entirely
Love that reaches
Further than I can see
Faithfulness that does not depend
On what I do with it

Enough to know the darkness is not final
Enough to keep walking
Enough

Mountains I did not build
Holding more than I can carry
Depths I cannot measure
Keeping what I would have lost
Not because I earned it
Not because I found it
It was simply there
When I finally looked up

Enough to keep walking
Enough
Not everything
Not clearly
But enough

Enough to keep walking
Enough
In your light I see light

Enough to know
The darkness is not final
Enough to keep walking
Enough
