Everyone is building an identity
Collecting pieces
Curating a self
But some things
Are not built
They are found
2
In Christ
I am not left outside
There is a place for me
Within a larger plan
Not invent
Find
4
I am not a project
I am not a brand
I am part of a purpose
Older than my plans
Found
Not fabricated
Found
5
Before I chose a direction
A direction
Had chosen me
That is not a cage
That is a compass
The difference between
Wandering
And being on the way
6
You can only discover
Who you are
If you already are someone
The search does not create you
It uncovers you
7
I am not a project
I am not a brand
I am part of a purpose
Older than my plans
Found
Not fabricated
Found
8
And a found life
Does what found things do
It shines a little
Glad to be
Picked up
