070-12 · Better Eyes Meet the Measure of the PowerIm Hörmodus öffnen ↗
1
And this is what I ask for you
Not more effort
Not longer lists
Not a heavier yoke
Better eyes
2
Eyes awake to what is here
To see what you are called to
To see what you already own
To see the strength
That stands behind you
3
This power has a name problem
It has been claimed
By thrones and banners
By armies marching
Under borrowed light
4
But look at the evidence
The proof of this power
Is not thunder
Not conquest
Not a crowd on its knees
The proof of this power
Is an empty grave
5
The power is not withheld
It is unrecognized
Like an inheritance
In an unopened envelope
Not more
Clearer
6
Mark this well
Whoever claims this power
To push others down
Has already
Misread the grave
7
Resurrection power
Raises
That is all it does
That is what it is for
