How it happened
Was not complicated
You heard
You trusted
You stepped in

And then
A mark
Quiet
Inward
Not a certificate on the wall
A seal on the letter
The Spirit
Saying softly
This is real

I do not hold the inheritance
Not yet
No one does
I hold a seal
A down payment
A promise
With a signature

Some want the whole treasure now
Proof in hand
Heaven on demand
But that is not
What was given
What was given
Is enough to walk on
Not enough to boast on

A seal is not the treasure
But think
No one seals
An empty letter

I do not hold the inheritance
Not yet
No one does
I hold a seal
A down payment
A promise
With a signature

So I walk
With sealed hands
Not full ones
And that is
Honest ground
It carries
